The collection presents itself as a reflection on the mechanisms of global capitalism and the ways in which objects circulate, accumulate value, and generate desire.
It is built upon the reworking of RWB bags, icons of mass consumption and Asian commercial culture—transforming a symbol of serial production into an object of authorship, memory, and resistance.
Through the deconstruction and reconstruction of these materials, the garments question the logic of obsolescence and relentless consumption, proposing a new perspective on what we discard and the value we assign to objects.
The conceptual starting point lies in the Portuguese expression "É tudo caminho" ("It's all fair game"). Commonly used in an ironic sense, it describes those who recognize no moral boundaries in the pursuit of their goals.
This expression is set against the recurring motorway symbol featured throughout the collection's prints. While the symbol evokes circulation, mobility, and the promise of progress, it also reveals an optimized route where only the destination matters. In this reading, movement ceases to be merely geographical and becomes economic and ideological: a critique of a system in which speed, productivity, and profit legitimize the abandonment of ethical principles.
Positioned between the handmade and the industrial, the local and the global, the collection establishes a dialogue between reuse and mass production, questioning an economic model that turns everything—objects, people, and values—into commodities.
By reconfiguring one of the most recognizable symbols of contemporary consumerism, the collection invites reflection on the paths we choose and the ethics of the journeys we take.
Because not every path is inevitable, and not every destination justifies the journey.
